History

Pandora the Wise, aka RavenMun is a person consisting of many facets. The one that stands out in our world here, the role playing world, is that she is a lover of stimulating writing. While she enjoys reading others writings, Role Plays specifically, in her own writing Pandora enjoys writing to stimulate and intrigue as well.

Originally appeared online, at the WebChat Broadcasting System (old WBS) in various 20 something rooms, despite being less than 20. Eventually migrated to the Role Play category of WBS, and began to frequent Glenshadows Tavern/Nia's Tavern, Inn of the Weary Traveller, World of Darkness, The Realm of Elahrair, Dragondale City, Valley of the Lunar Rainbow, Nails Ginjoint, and other such rooms. Pandora's usual nick name/username when out of character was RavenMun, a moniker which she has recently returned to.

After the site shut down, went to The Blue Knight's chat/role play site. Became friends with the owner, and opened up own room called The Realm of Orion, where mainly highly mythical creatures dwelt. Was later persuaded by a friend to move over to RolePlay Chat (RPC) and help with her room, but when friend pulled out of room at the last minute- was asked by the site owner to run the room under a new name. Decided upon creating Tavern style RPG room, with a AD&D/Fantasy base, called The Black Pearl Inn. Was then asked by site owner to be a Administrator at the site, in charge of rooms and site rule enforcement.

During this time, and subsequently, Pandora has also frequented TTR, Red Dragon Inn, Shattered, and various other role play based sites.

When the RPC site suddenly closed, moved over to IMC with the Black Pearl Inn for a short time, before finding a new home at Ethereal Realms (ER). Was also asked at this site to become a member of the secret council of Administrators, was usually in charge of mediation, new room creation, and player questions, in addition to helping to bug test site. Held this position for several years, under two different council member names, one such being Ethereal's Courtier. Real life began to slowly take over and availability became less, but maintained council membership. But eventually Ethereal Realms was closed as a public chat site, as the owner of the site had less time and patience for the site.

A friend invited Pandora over to Gateway Oracle, and for a while role played contently at that site. When that site closed, migrated over to the new (WBS) World Broadcasting System, and began to play in various rooms. When a host of a room called Gotham came into an empty room Pandora was playing in, she invited Pandora to her room to play. Pandora accepted the invitation, but began to grow increasingly irritated with the room as for months, and months graphics broke and the hostess was never around to fix such issues, or to show support of her own room. The site owner of WBS asked Pandora to then take over the room after the Host of Gotham refused to spend any time in her own room, under a different name and generally different concept (though keeping with the Comic book theme) to keep up with the interest in comic book rooms. Gotham and Beyond was born from that idea, and both Pandora and Labratio began to host the room.



A short time later the owner of WBS asked Pandora to serve as an administrator for Public Relations for the WBS site. Eventually the position also expanded to include mediation, Room Design & Questions, and Pandora became the head of the Public relations team.

Pandora spends her time primarily on WBS role playing, and trying to ever expand the user base of WBS- and help the current players on WBS, as well as updating offsite communities for WBS (MySpace group, Facebook community, LiveJournal community, etc.). Pandora has a good understanding of the software WBS runs on (as it is an Ethereal Realms program), web & graphic design, and thus can help players and hosts alike. Pandora tries to be open to anyone who needs help on WBS, and welcomes anyone to contact her for help.

Pandora is the webmaster for this wiki and the gothamandbeyond.net and gothamandbeyond.com sites, as well as hostess for Gotham and Beyond. All WBS questions can be addressed to Pandora by going to her WBS Admin Contact section.

Outside of the internet, Pandora is a wife and a avid pet advocate/"Mommy", an artist and writer, and enjoys spending time with her family.

Powers

Writing; to come up with new characters; and storylines. Graphically artistic, able to create a mood for a character with just a little manipulation. Mediation, and Chat site Administration.

Abilities

Extreme writer. Able to play most any character, and come up with plausible storylines with a little research. Can magnificently diffuse tense chat site situations with calm rationale, and understanding. Queen of redundancy.

Strength level

Unknown limits. Administration and Hosting of chat role play sites and rooms.
